A group of city officials tried to make themselves rich by gaming the system, their corruption was discovered and reported in the media, and the people of Bell threw the bums out. Now that’s justice

That’s how it’s supposed to work. Our job is to make the country work the way the city of Bell works; focus the same kind of justice on bank CEOs who take multi-million dollar bonuses as their firms collapse, on industrial giants whose reckless abandon is polluting our ecology, on a supposedly liberal administration that continues to prosecute a funky-ass war in the Middle East. The time has come to let them know for whom the Bell tolls.
